Cardiff Capers

Today, tomorrow and Tuesday, I am in Cardiff. Ostensibly this is for a work conference over the next couple of days but as my hotel overlooks the castle and the Millennium Stadium and Cardiff Bay is mere minutes away, it would be remiss of me not to run around, pretending to be Captain Jack or The Doctor. I stood on the flagstone and pretended no-one could see me and I also jumped up and down on it a couple of times in the vain hope it might let me into The Hub.  Fortunately I wasn’t the only one. There were several kids around the 10 year-old mark and their parents (nearer my age) doing exactly the same. The two Policeman watching did glance at each other as if to say “Bloody Torchwood”.

Which is kind of appropriate, really… 

I was going to take some pictures but my camera made a terrifying screeching noise and packed in. I will attempt to fix it. If I do, I will be posting some rather self-indulgent fanboy related pics in the next couple of days.
