Show 69: Village/Children of the Damned

It’s all any of us can do not to shout at them, try and run them over or, at a push, shoot them. It wouldn’t have to be this way if they didn’t all look alike, have glowing eyes, manipulate us at will and stare hard at us with a superior smile whilst saying “Leave us alone” in an unnaturally macabre way.
So, basically, they’re asking for it.
Or maybe I found Village of the Damned a little to worrying for my own good…
Unlike Children of the Damned, a ‘sequel-that-isn’t-a-sequel’, where it’s us who are shown to be the intolerant and reactive adolescents.
It’s a conundrum to be sure. I still think that the films are basically saying what I said at the start; kids are creepy.
